About Me

An Escapist close to the world.

Friday 9 October 2009

Yesterday I was at the verge of my disappointment while reading about Egypt's importation for Chinese hymens. I cried, not just because it is a clear insult to Egyptian Muslims and that the Chinese commercial for the product actually uncovered the dilation of premarital sex which is unacceptable neither by our religion nor by the society's conservative traditions that china served the purpose of image or rather the hypocrisy of every un-virgin woman by offering the quick kit solution.
The commercial said; "Restore your virginity in five minutes with the new technologically advanced product. Kiss your deep dark secret goodbye for only 15$ … no surgery … no needles … no medication … no side effects … only 15$"

the news stroke into my cause of feminism, I couldn't breathe and my inhaler didn't seem to help my suffocation for oxygen, I felt how far I am from the arena of reality; I saw myself standing there in an isolated place asking women to hold on to virtue and self-perseverance while my society is importing hymens...!!!!!!!!

I think it could save lives if the provision is limited. I mean...some people are born with conditions where their hymens have to be broken, if that's the right term to use, in order to be treated..

I don't know..

oui oui I second that,
but hun the purpose behind this product to Egypt is not to serve the mere exceptions you hinted for!
and if Egypt happened to import it, then it clearly legalizes premarital sex and so I heard that some parliament conservative members rejected it already!
